Data we do not collect
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, any health information: symptoms, diagnoses, prescriptions, test results, appointment notes or medical histories. Searching the directory does not require an account, and we do not use your searches to build advertising or health profiles.
Data we collect
- Listing submissions and claims: your name, email address, optional phone number and your relationship to the provider, so we can check the submission and contact you about it.
- Corrections and reports: an optional name and email address if you want us to follow up.
- Provider information: business or professional contact details that providers or their representatives choose to publish. We do not publish private personal contact details without consent.
- Security data: to prevent abuse we process your IP address briefly and store only a one-way hash of it for rate limiting. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals from your browser.
- Location: if you choose "Near me", your browser shares your approximate location with the page to sort results. It is used for that search and is not stored.
How long we keep data
Contact details on closed submissions, claims, corrections and reports are removed automatically after a set retention period (currently 180 days). Published provider information is kept while the listing is live and archived when it is removed.
Service providers
The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and spam protection). If email notifications are enabled, an email delivery provider will process your email address to send status updates.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you by using the contact page. Providers can ask us to update or remove their listing at any time.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest revision.
